I'd buy one of each faction as the new troops look stunning artwork wise and it looks like the tactical options will be very nice. Its really hard to decide so better get both . |

well, we're certainly not going to complain about that and you are able to create an army with a mix and match of both Dzaa and Ang troops. however, we may not be releasing all of the troop types in one go! so are there any specific troop type(s) that appeal to you? |

I like the different cavalry Units (light/medium and heavy) and the Warriors with the warbeasts. I dont think there is a need for so much different scout types right now. I'd go with one extra scout unit (light rider or warbeast) and than some Cavalry troops/Warbeast troopst. Maybe 3 types (light/medium(heavy) of each. |

Cavalry! I Right now, this is the most exciting aspect that I've not yet fully explored. More mounted options give more choice. However, if you were going to release a single race I'd have to choose the Ang. I really like the Huaos-Daa but the Ang, being the rebel force, should get the infusion of newer troop types. |

I've a long standing fondness for avians and the aerial arena so I'd really like to see some of those bad boys making an appearance. I also really like the idea of warbeasts and beast masters. I blame my games workshop days - night goblins herding aggitated cave squigs towards the opposition always tickled me.
Overall I guess anything where critters are involved excites me more than the 'standard' troops. But ain't that always the way with war games - specialist units are the most fun, the glory boys as it were.
If I have to pick one faction I really do like the flyers so I'd go dzaa, and after the flyers since I reckon on some of these units taking up 'rare' slots in army selection something to pad out the less rare slots with interesting options is for the win, maybe great swords and grenadiers. Yeah... scatter the enemy with explosives and hard hitting killers then pick off the rest with aerial troops. Sounds like a plan and everything... |

So are you going to give away any more clues what might be in the first war pack? Because there are some options it seems:
* 15 non-random cards per War Pack - know what cards you're getting
* Each War Pack has several Troop Cards of the same type - i.e. Ang Archers War Pack
* Each War Pack also contains some, or all, of - Terrain, Combat Masters, Battle Masters, Standards, Conflicts
* Add Conflict Cards into your game with the first War Packs - the Dzaa & Ang
Just wondering what sort of composition those 15 cards will be, whether it'll be just new troops for this first one or if we'll maybe see fresh terrain etc? |
