the scroll icon Hello. As promised the first of the Huaos-Dzaa Troop Cards have been posted to our site. The Huaos-Dzaa are a common enemy to the rebel cultures of Edadh having conquered the civilised countries.

But under the reign of the Huaos-Dzaa many clans have prospered, slaves have been freed and a new culture of opportunity has been created. The Huaos-Dzaa Empire is strict with its laws but those who abide by them can flourish.

news icon Huaos-Dzaa Troops have a very distinctive look. Ash pinned this down years ago as can be seen in a drawing of a Swordmaiden he produced over ten years ago - yes we've been working on this project for a few years!

This sketch of Huaos-Dzaa Spears - below - actually appears in the background of the Spears Troop Card.

news icon Defenders: part 2
The dull grind of shield against shield, the warriors roar and curse - spears deflect off metal helms occasionally drawing blood when one finds its mark. Neither side is prepared to give any ground, muscles burning with the exertion of standing firm but the lines hold fast.

In the relative quiet of the stalemate an Angueth spear is suddenly stabbed over the wall and is pulled back with a hard, fast wrench. A wicked hook just below the spear point catches a Huaos-Dzaa helmet and the snagged soldier bellows as his headpiece is wrenched off and the blade gouges a deep, ragged cut in the back of his head. A cheer erupts from the Angueth ranks as the helmet sails through the air and the Angueth redouble their efforts.
to be continued...
