Hello. Welcome to the first edition of The Scroll. This week we've posted the first of the Terrain Cards to the website. Choice of terrain can be as important as any other aspect of the game so knowing and using your terrain well is vital.
Without terrain there's no field of battle and nothing to fight over so it's an apt place to start. |

Vaechi & Fiadrytch. These two types of being appear a lot on our cards. Ash reveals what they are and how he depicts them.
He then goes on to discuss land Vaechi and land Fiadrytch.

Defenders: part 1
As the two shield walls come together there is a thunderous crash of metal on wood accompanied by the furious sound of battle cries as each side attempts to strike fear into the hearts of their enemy and bolster their own nerves. A flock of birds bursts from the surrounding canopy adding their voices to the din of the foray below as they flee the unfolding scenario. The Angueth had learnt this brutal form of combat from the very people who were their conquerors but all too late to prevent their subjugation. Yet here they now stand, head to head with the Huaos-Dzaa, matching them - move for move - in their own art of war. The small band of rebels dig deep, grit their teeth and push with a dogged determination to leave their mark that would not easily be forgotten. This act of defiance would prove that there were still many who refused to bow down; those who would never accept another's rule. As if reading the Angueth's intention the Huaos-Dzaa troops buckle down with renewed resolve and stab their spears viciously over the wall in an attempt to push their enemy back. to be continued...
