Description

Ku stand at around five feet tall. They lean forward over powerful, long limbs with clawed feet and hands and their entire bodies are covered in fur that can be of fair or dark colours, grey or even a reddish brown and commonly have one or more contrasting stripes that run from the head down the back that are accompanied by a series of stiff quills. Long manes of hair fall below their shoulders to the lower back.

Ku are incredibly athletic, agile, supple and strong for their size. They use their feet as if they were hands as they are capable of manipulating objects dexterously and they also have prehensile tails. They are as comfortable on all fours as they are walking and running upright and can move far quicker when galloping on all four limbs. Uniquely, Ku are born capable of complete self-reliance though family units stand by to ensure protection against the larger dangers whilst the young are in their formative years.

The senses of Ku are acute and unrivaled amongst the civilized and savage races. They have also been known to take the most horrendous injuries without appearing to flinch.

Creation Myth

The Ku keep themselves to themselves and not a lot is known about them and nothing about their origins.

Cultures

The Ku live in dispersed, familial colonies and can be found across the whole of Edadh. They are simply known as the Ku and only interact with other cultures to challenge their best and strongest to mortal combat.
