Description
Caeghath have four legs and a lower body similar to mammalian herbivores with a humanoid torso at the front. There are several types of Caeghath, some small, some very large but all have fine fur covering their bodies with longer hair about their cloven-hoofed feet, over the front of their forearms, covering their chests and backs as well as the underside and topside of their lower bodies. Both male and female Caeghath sport horns and the males have hair growing from their chins. Tails are long and the hair on their heads can also grow to a length and is usually fair in tone. Skin colours range in the brown and grey tones with highlights of golden reds or a bluish sheen.
Caeghath are known to be active both during the night and day and have excellent night vision.
Creation Myth
Little is known about the origins of the Caeghath. Upon Edadh the Caeghath live a nomadic existence but raid and pillage all other cultures. Consequently they are viewed as enemies by all other races on Edadh and little is really known about them and their way of life.
Cultures
Caeghath bands roam across the whole of Edadh living a nomadic, hunter-gatherer existence. They are known as the Chune (pronounced chew-knee) and are feared by all other Edadh cultures.
