The Civilised Species have created cultures that have settled an area and adopted a farming lifestyle.

The Savage Species are those that have created hunter-gatherer cultures: nomadic or settled. They have less members in a clan and are viewed as being primitive by the civilised cultures.

There are some species that are so mysterious that they are very rarely viewed by any of the other species of Edadh - civilised or savage. However, it is obvious from the clothing they wear and items they carry that they are as intelligent as any other race.
