Edadh is home to a host of unique races and numerous diverse cultures. Even before the Dzaa conquest it had been torn apart by war.
Although large parts of Edadh have been carved up into countries there are still vast tracts of wilderness stretching as far as the eye can see. In these wastelands huge beasts dominate alongside monsters, the walking dead and other minions of Luageth - the creator of all evil. These creatures and merchants of chaos trespass onto the settled lands and threaten the very existence of the towns and clans. Travel is fraught with danger and so trading caravans are heavily guarded.
Edadh is rich and abundant in both plant and animal life with clear flowing rivers and although it offers its inhabitants sufficient food and clean water it is nevertheless a harsh world. Predators and monsters prowl the imposing landscape making it tough for the races to survive in. Its climate ranges from the bitter, biting cold of the north to the balmy heat of the south, but the ever present ravaging storms wreak havoc and destruction throughout the land. During winter the blizzards come from the north encroaching further south with each passing year and the autumn gives birth to tornadoes that threaten homes and lives. In summer treacherous flash thunderstorms create mayhem and spring brings torrential rains and floods that saturate the land.
In this setting, Edadh's cultures war with one another for their freedoms and for survival!
